Got Pot Holes?

The Bureau of Street Services will send their Small Asphalt Repairs (SAR) truck for the Harbor City Neighborhood Council District on 3/22/18. (The deadline to submit pot hole locations is 3/7/18).
Please describe the location of the pot hole and provide the nearest intersection or physical address so that the Bureau can investigate. Send this information in an email and include your name and phone number. Send email to

Current locations submitted as of 3/1/18 that will be forwarded to the Bureau of Street Services for investigation:

  • Pot hole at PCH and Vermont on the South East Corner. (Update:  Good news, this pot hole is fixed as of this morning.  3/2/18)
  • Small pot hole on the west bound lane of Palos Verdes North just before Athena street in Harbor Pines. It is located in the center of the road east of Athena Street.
  • Giant pot hole exiting the 110 southbound at PCH. Making a right turn onto PCH in the outer turn lane puts you right into the pot hole on PCH. (This might be a Cal Trans issue but we will report it to the City and see if they can get Cal Trans to fix it if that is the case).
  • Corner of PCH and Bixby Avenue.  According to our stakeholder:  The pot holes are right at the entrance of Bixby road if you’re coming from PCH. The pavement of the entrance has been damaged and deformed (maybe due to heavy load trucks), with portions of the asphalt already peeled off creating a number of pot holes. And I also notice that the holes are filled with water which can further damage the cracks forming.
